When working as a Surgical Technician, the majority of your day will consist of you being in a surgical room. Before entering the room you must "Scrub In" along with everyone else. Scrubbing in is the serious washing your hands in forearms and wear the surgical gown just like they do in the movies!

This requires knowledge on the different types of procedures and the equipment used for each one. Surgical Technicians have the incredible opportunity of building a rewarding professional relationship with surgeons. In some cases Surgeons will enter a hospital with there own team. This can give you the chance to travel around the state or even country with a Surgeon and help save lives.
